This was purchased new about 15 years ago.
It has been initialized as shown in image 2.
It appears to be free of noticeable scratches or stains at first glance, but there is aging and stains and tears at the locations marked in images 13 and 14 (the back of "To Use Safely").
The keyboard, USB interface, touchpad, and Wi-Fi have been tested and are working without problems.
Regarding the optical drive, reading is quite unreliable, and it may require several openings and closings to start reading, or the tray may not open even when the eject button is pressed. Therefore, you may need to use a clip or similar to insert into the forced eject button to open it. It's probably best to assume it's unusable. However, it works until the end once it starts reading, and I was able to initialize it using all the recovery discs, so it can be used if you get the hang of it.
Other interfaces have not been confirmed, so they may not be usable.
